Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
  • Personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Medication reminders
  • Meal planning and preparation
  • Light housekeeping and laundry
  • Companionship and meaningful engagement
  • Mobility assistance and transfers
  • Transportation to appointments and errands (when required)
  • Observe and report changes in client condition
  • Maintain accurate daily care notes

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience
  • Experience with seniors, dementia, Alzheimer's, or hospice care preferred
  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Current TB test (or willingness to obtain one)
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred
