Job description


Direct and guide the Live Haul Department to ensure on time delivery of birds to plant.
Duties/Activities Required by Job
  • Oversee daily scheduling of live bird pick up, coordinate with production, processing, live haul transportation to ensure proper scheduling. Ensure all milestones, financial targets and success metrics are met.
  • Lead and develop team. Encourage training to build competency and commitment
  • Maintain records, create reports on deliveries and staffing. Adhere to all Animal Welfare policies
  • Adheres to all safety requirements including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions. Ensure catching crews and live haul drivers adhere to Mountaire safety policies.
  • Interact with contract drivers and catch crews,

Educations/Experience Requirements
  • BA or 3yrs management experience
  • 2+yrs in Live Haul Management
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
