Job description

Technician – Fuel Restoration and Tank Cleaning Operator

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Technician to operate our tank cleaning truck to perform fuel restoration and tank cleaning of underground and aboveground fuel storage tanks. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer service.Job Responsibilities:
  • Utilizing required equipment, restore fuel to industry standards.
  • Utilizing required equipment, clean the interiors of underground and aboveground petroleum storage tanks
  • Perform maintenance and ensure cleanliness of truck and cleaning equipment
  • Provide excellent customer service and interact with clients in a professional manner
  • Abide by all DOT regulations, including proper logging of hours
Requirements:
  • Self-motivated and highly communicative
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety as the top priority
  • Pride in workmanship and ability to uphold the company’s reputation
  • Dependable, professional, and willing to grow in the role
  • Fuel industry knowledge preferred (willing to train the right candidate)
  • CDL not required
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
  • Load, secure, and unload materials with attention to safety and efficiency
  • Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and traffic laws
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck and equipment
  • Accurately complete delivery logs, invoices, and related paperwork
  • Willingness to travel as needed for ocassional regional or out-of-town assignments
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy materials safely
