Position Overview

We are hiring an Experienced Drain Technician / Plumber to run weekend service calls from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with weekday evening on-call availability from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and the possibility of occasional late-night calls.

This role offers:

  • High weekend earning potential
  • Guaranteed weekday on-call pay

Compensation

Weekend Pay (Saturday & Sunday, 9 AM – 5 PM)

  • $35 – $45/hr (based on experience)

Weekday Evening & Occasional Late-Night On-Call

  • $25/day guaranteed On-Call Pay (paid with or without calls)
  • $42 – $52/hr if dispatched
  • Occasional late-night calls possible (paid at same hourly rate)

Additional Earning Potential

  • Sales Commissions on approved work performed or sold

Responsibilities

Weekend Responsibilities (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

  • Run residential drain and plumbing service calls independently
  • Operate drain cleaning equipment including:

  • Sewer inspection cameras
  • Locator tools
  • Light hydro-jetting for small/interior lines
  • Diagnose sewer/drain issues using camera and locator
  • Perform basic plumbing repairs:
  • Traps
  • Toilet resets
  • Garbage disposals
  • Minor leak repairs
  • Conduct whole-home plumbing inspections
  • Present multiple repair and replacement options using the Mr. Rooter process
  • Document all work using the company iPad

Weekday Evening On-Call (5:00 PM – 9:00 PM)

  • Be available for service calls
  • Receive $25/day guaranteed
  • Paid hourly if dispatched
  • Occasional late-night calls may occur (paid at the same rate)
  • No scheduled overnight shifts

Required Experience

Must Have:
