Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) required.

  • Licensed to practice law in the state where the office is located (Texas).

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in all aspects of general commercial litigation, including contract and how it effects business.

  • Strong research and writing skills paired with an outstanding academic record.

  • Clerkship or trial experience

  • Prior experience in a large law firm environment is highly valued.

  • Provide legal advice and counsel on corporate governance, business strategy, regulatory compliance, and legal risks.

  • Assist the Board of Directors, executives and management on corporate governance practices, fiduciary duties and best practices for board operations and shareholder relations

  • In-depth understanding of corporate law, including corporate governance, contracts, compliance, and intellectual property.
