Experienced Litigation Paralegal - Commercial Litigation
Sul Lee Law Firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support our commercial litigation team, with a strong preference for candidates who have prior construction industry experience. Individuals who have worked for construction companies in project administration, contract management, estimating, billing, accounting support, or other back-office roles are encouraged to apply.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys analyzing documents, understanding how projects operate, and helping attorneys develop claims and defenses in complex business and construction disputes.
Applicants must have prior hands-on litigation paralegal experience. Applications that do not demonstrate relevant litigation experience will not move forward in the hiring process.
Responsibilities
• Draft, review, and organize legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with court requirements.
• Collaborate closely with attorneys to develop strategies for complex commercial and construction litigation cases.
• Conduct thorough research to support case preparation, including gathering and analyzing relevant data and evidence.
• Manage case files and maintain organized records, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.
• Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and experts to schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances.
• Assist in the preparation of trial materials, including exhibits, witness lists, and opening statements.
• Monitor and manage deadlines for filings, ensuring timely submission of all necessary documents to the court system.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 2+ years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Commercial and/or construction litigation experience.
• Experience supporting attorneys through active litigation matters.
• Ability to organize, review, and analyze complex legal documents and contracts.
