Job description

What You'll Do
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 100 personal injury cases with care and precision.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients - every two weeks - to provide updates, answer questions, and ensure they feel supported.
  • Collaborate with attorneys in weekly case reviews to strategize and move cases forward.
  • Draft compelling demand letters that clearly communicate liability, medical treatment, damages, and each client's personal story.
  • Monitor clients' medical treatment progress and ensure compliance with prescribed care.
  • Request, review, and summarize medical and billing records throughout the treatment phase.
  • Identify and address liability or treatment gaps early in the case.
  • Keep all case data accurate and up to date in Filevine case management software.
  • Follow established firm policies and procedures through case resolution.
  • Assist with other case management duties as needed - we're a team that wins together.

What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years of pre-litigation case management experience in personal injury law.
  • Experience drafting persuasive demand letters that tell a client's story and support strong settlement outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of motor vehicle collision claims and related injuries.
  • Exceptional communication skills - written and verbal - with a compassionate, client-centered approach.
  • Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management abilities.
  • High level of discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Filevine or similar case management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and team-oriented mindset.

Bonus Points If You Have:
  • Experience supervising or mentoring team members.
  • A college degree or paralegal certification.
  • Fluency in Spanish (bilingual)
