Robert Half is partnered with a top Litigation boutique in search of a Litigation Associate Attorney in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with at least two years of litigation experience who wants to build deeper subject matter strength in products liability and mass tort matters. The role offers hands-on involvement across all phases of casework, from written discovery and depositions through motion practice, strategic case planning, and trial preparation.


Responsibilities:

• Manage written discovery from initial drafting through response analysis, including preparing interrogatories, document requests, and coordinating electronic evidence collection.

• Take and defend depositions involving fact witnesses, party representatives, and corporate designees while developing testimony that supports overall case strategy.

• Prepare, file, and argue procedural motions, and contribute to substantive briefing for case-dispositive matters.

• Conduct detailed legal research and produce clear pleadings, memoranda, and client-facing written communications with limited oversight.

• Support litigation strategy by tracking deadlines, organizing case progress, and helping move matters toward mediation, arbitration, or trial.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate facts, assess risks, and develop persuasive legal positions throughout the life of each case.

• At least 2 years of experience handling civil, commercial, or comparable litigation matters.

• Active law license in the State of MN or the ability to obtain admission without delay.

• Strong working knowledge of state civil procedure, general rules of practice, and relevant federal court procedures.

• Demonstrated skill in drafting motions, briefs, pleadings, and other litigation documents.

• Experience managing discovery obligations, including written discovery and document review processes.

• Confident oral advocacy skills with prior appearances before judges in state or federal court.
