Direct Counsel is working with a highly respected law firm seeking a junior to mid-level Intellectual Property Litigation Associate to join its Boston office. This is a great opportunity to work on high-profile trade secret and patent matters in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a nationally recognized team.


What Youโ€™ll Do:

  • Work on all stages of IP litigation, including trade secret and patent disputes
  • Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and briefs
  • Manage e-discovery (ESI), including document review and production
  • Assist with depositions, witness interviews, and trial prep
  • Collaborate with attorneys across offices on complex, high-stakes cases

What Weโ€™re Looking For:

  • 2โ€“4 years of IP litigation experience (mid-size or large law firm preferred)
  • Experience with trade secrets, patents, or related IP matters
  • Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-moving environment
  • Technical background (biology, chemistry, AI, or computer science) is a plus
  • J.D. from a top-tier law school with strong academic credentials
