Job description

Nationally acclaimed full-service Am Law 200 business law firm is seeking a complex commercial litigation associate to join their team. Since inception this firm has been committed to providing excellent client service. Billable hour goals and performance metrics are individualized based on the practice group, professional goals, experience, and more.

This position is onsite at the firm’s Fort Lauderdale, Florida office. Ideal candidates must be Florida barred, have experience drafting discovery and substantive motions in both Federal and State courts and will have prior large case and/or firm experience.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Florida Bar license in good standing
  • Must have 3-4 years of experience in complex commercial litigation, prior large case and/or firm experience is preferred
  • Must have excellent academic credentials
  • Must have experience drafting discovery and substantive motions in both Federal and State courts
  • Must have strong research, writing and oral advocacy skills
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Must be motivated to learn and grow professionally
