Dallas - Mid-Level Employment Litigation Associate

The Dallas office of Fisher Phillips seeks an employment litigation associate with 3-7 years of Labor and Employment experience. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to grow a practice under the mentorship of talented partners, thrive in a hybrid work environment, and demonstrate a growth mindset.

Responsibilities

The associate will handle cases independentlyโ€”including drafting and responding to pleadings, managing discovery, drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and participating in mediations and trialsโ€”focusing on discrimination and restrictive covenant matters.

Qualifications
  • 3-7 years of Labor and Employment experience
  • Trial and arbitration experience
  • Ability to handle cases independently
  • Experience drafting pleadings, managing discovery, drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, participating in mediations and trials
  • Experience in discrimination cases and restrictive covenant issues
  • Excellent academic credentials, strong writing and analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple projects in a fastโ€‘paced environment
  • Admission to the Texas Bar
  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school
