Dewhirst, Dolven & Parker LLC is a regional civil litigation insurance defense law firm with clients in Colorado, Utah, Texas, Arizona, Nebraska and Wyoming. This position is for an attorney with a demonstrated history of handling litigation cases. The successful candidate will be familiar with Colorado civil procedure and law. A high level of integrity is a must as well as a willingness to work with a team. This attorney will be required to research legal issues and comply with all legal standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and participate in legal hearings, depositions, and trial.
  • Prepare briefs.
  • Motion practice and oral argument
  • Prepare and participate in mediation, arbitration and settlement negotiations.

Qualifications:

  • 3-70 years in civil litigation preferred
  • Licensed in Colorado
  • Insurance defense experience preferred
  • Strong research, writing, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attorneys with licenses in Texas, Arizona, and Wyoming a plus!
