Our cross-functional teams work collaboratively with Alberta-based businesses and organizations to build AI capacity and translate scientific advancement into industry adoption and economic impact.About the RoleAs an AI Literacy Specialist, you will utilize your teaching and instructional design experience to create artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) learning assets for Amii's AI literacy Platform. You will leverage your strong organization, communication, and pedagogical skills to collaborate with the Training Team ML Educators, ensuring that a variety of AI content is accessible to key target audiences.The AI Literacy Specialist is a key member of the Training Product Team and will contribute to the execution of Amii's business functions. This position focuses on content excellence, creating a meaningful learner experience, and supporting the success of the team in delivering impactful AI literacy programming to individuals and companies. This position focuses on achieving excellence in three main accountabilities: Learner Success Content Excellence Team Success Required Skills / ExpertiseKey Responsibilities: Collaborate with the AI Literacy Manager to ensure a meaningful learner experience is established within the AI literacy platform Collaborate with the AI Literacy Manager to align learning assets to existing learner personas and contribute to their ongoing refinement over time Design and build engaging and instructionally sound learning assets for Amii's AI Literacy Platform Collaborate with ML Educators on the Training Team to identify opportunities to create new AI and ML learning assets for Amii's AI Literacy Platform Monitor developments in AI to inform timely and relevant learning content Collaborate with ML Educators to ensure the AI and ML learning assets are up-to-date, accurate, and aligned with defined learning pathways and diverse learner profiles Collaborate with the AI Literacy Manager to ensure the AI and ML learning assets are aligned with the Amii brand standards and AI Literacy strategy Maintain and improve systems and tools in the organization that lead to measurable efficiency gains Encourage and identify problem-solving approaches to work while acting as a collaborator Approach personal development and learning opportunities collaboratively and draw lessons for future coaching and people leadership opportunities Identify opportunities for efficiency and take tangible actions to execute improvements Required Qualifications: Post-Secondary Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Communications or related field 1 - 3 years of teaching or facilitation experience, which could include but is not limited to; K to 12, postsecondary, or corporate training settings Excellent written and visual communication skills, including the ability to storyboard or script content for various media formats (e.g., video, interactive modules, microlearning) Experience developing learning assets specialized to target audiences Experience with a variety of educational technologies and online learning tools (nice to have) Demonstrated interest in emerging technologies, including AI, and their applications across various contexts Attributes and Expectations: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels Ability to identify the needs of stakeholders and create/drive new solutions Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high attention to detail Demonstrates a positive, group-win approach and a willingness to help, learn, and share Demonstrates adaptability and effectively manages shifting priorities What you'll love about us A professional yet casual work environment that encourages the growth and development of your skills Participate in professional development activities Gain access to the Amii community and events A chance to learn from amazing teammates who support one another to succeed Competitive compensation, including paid time off and flexible health benefits A modern office located in downtown Edmonton, Alberta How to ApplyIf this sounds like the opportunity you've been waiting for, please don't wait for the closing September 14, 2026 to apply - we're excited to add a new member to the Amii team for this role, and the posting may come down sooner than the closing date if we find the right candidate before the posting closes!
