Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

A TurnerCommercialPest Control (CPC)Technicianis to performinspections,implementing oftreatment, andexceptional communication with customers. These services include recurring pest control,service calls,andinitial servicesto hospitality, hospitals, and othercommercialbusinesses.They may also provide overflow coverage of recurring services asdeemednecessary by management. These technicians' days can vary by service area and location daily and require flexible scheduling day by day.

Duties include:

  • Providequalityand effective pest detection,eliminationand prevention solutions to an established routeofcommercial customers.

  • Conduct interior and exteriorinspections toidentifyconditions conducive topests

  • Safely driving a company vehicle

  • Long periodsof walking, kneeling, squatting. Could involve walking up to 7 miles per day.

  • Establish effective working relationships with a variety of customers

  • Use of handheld computerized equipment to manage service calls and documents

  • Provide customers with general information about ourvarious services

  • Conduct service calls as needed

  • Problem solving and/or complaint resolution

  • Enjoy working outdoors

  • Have excellent listening and communication skills

Ideal candidates will:

  • Enjoy working outdoors in varying weather conditions

  • Be able to calculate basic mathematic equations

  • Nothavea fear of bugs, snakes, rodents, etc.

  • Not have a fear of tight spaces such as crawl spaces and attics

  • Be able to withstandlong periodsof squatting,standingand walking; including the ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl

  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which includes an OSHA compliant respirator in some cases.

  • Be able to lift/move up to 50lbs

  • Safe use of portable ladders within the manufacturer's specifications and OSHA regulations

  • Have excellent listening and communication skills

  • Be competent with the use ofnew technology

  • Be organized and able to manage their own daily route

  • Be able to navigate their daily route with GPS

  • Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to safety regulations

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Must have a valid Florida driver's license

  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

  • Ability to work independently, manage route-based work, and provide exceptional customer service.
