Job description

Our practice has as an immediate opening for an experienced sedation R.N. Our interventional radiology sub-specialty practice is internationally recognized as a leader in uterine fibroid embolization procedures.
We're proud to provide our patients with a first-rate clinical team which includes R.N.s, Lab Techs, and M.A.s. The team works together to prepare patients for uterine fibroid embolization and provide direct care to the patient while they recover in our dedicated procedure suite. Our patients are discharged on the same day as their procedure.
The right candidate will have certification and proven experience providing conscious sedation preferably in a Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology setting. The candidate will enjoy working alongside physician providers, and want to be part of team. When not involved in anesthesia-related tasks, the Sedation R.N. will work with the rest of the clinical team to provide direct care to our patients.
Requirements for this position include:
  • A current Georgia nursing license
  • Certification and experience providing conscious sedation
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • The ability to start an IV quickly and efficiently
  • Strong basic nursing skills
  • At least one year experience, full time, as an RN. Experience in one of the critical care departments is preferred.
  • A calm and soothing bedside manner, positive attitude, and a ready ability to smile.
  • Professional conduct and appearance
  • Eligible to work in the US and ability to converse in English (Spanish a plus)

Paid holidays and an additional "Floating Holiday." The practice is open weekdays only, and there are no nights, weekends, holidays, or call required.
