Anderson Dermatology and Skin Surgery Center, LLC is looking for a passionate and skilled CMA/CCMA to join our growing team in Anderson, SC. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a specialized medical environment where you'll make a real difference in patients' skin health and overall well-being. Responsibilities:
  • Assist dermatologists and clinical staff with patient examinations and dermatological procedures
  • Perform clinical intake duties including vital signs, medical history documentation, and chief complaint review
  • Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring proper sterilization and stocking of supplies
  • Administer medications, injections, and topical treatments as directed by the provider
  • Support skin surgery procedures including biopsies, excisions, and wound care
  • Document patient information accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, skincare regimens, and post-procedure care instructions
  • Coordinate patient flow and communicate effectively between front and back office teams
Requirements:
  • Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) credential required
  • Prior experience in a dermatology, surgical, or specialty medical practice preferred
