Job Description

Candidate must possess 4+ years in Information Technology with 3+ years in Weblogic Server Administration 

Must possess a working knowledge of Windows, Unix, Linux for the weblogic environment 

Possess the ability to work in a team environment with strong verbal and written communication skills. 

Must be detailed oriented and organized. Able to multi-task and work independently in multiple programs and projects of varying degrees of complexity. Must be a service oriented individual 

Responsibilities include designing, building, administering, supporting Oracle Weblogic servers in both stand-alone and clustered environments. Participate in on call rotations. 

Work with administrators from other groups during problem resolution 

The candidate will also monitor the performance of weblogic servers and ensure a stable platform for our production environment 

Design, build, administer and support an Oracle Weblogic Server in a stand-alone and clustered configuration. Includes administration of load balancing, failover and 

security along with establishing disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity 

Senior level experience in Weblogic 6.x and 10.x administration, IIS, Oblix, 

Managing inventory of SSL certificates. 

Performance tuning 

Experience with F5 load balancer. 

Experience with WhatsUp Gold application. 

Writing shell scripts in a Linux environment 

Configuring Weblogic server instances in Weblogic clusters for high availability 

Proficient in application deployment and deploying web services. 

Work with OS system administrators to resolve issues. 

Knowledge in the use of Linux and Windows in an application 

administration capacity 


Qualifications

Knowledge of Weblogic Scripting tool, (WLST). 

Extensive knowledge and experience with WLS/J2EE application monitoring, performance tuning, diagnostics and troubleshooting. 

Work experience with J2EE or ADF application development a plus 

Proficient in the use of virtual host in WebLogic. 

Proficient in using LDAP with EDirectory & ActiveDirectory.
