Linux Systems Administrator / Network Administrator


We are seeking a hands-on Linux Systems Administrator / Network Administrator for a full-time, onsite opportunity in Harrisburg, PA.


This role is best suited for someone with strong hands-on Linux/RHEL administration experience who is also comfortable supporting Windows Server, VMware, Active Directory, Office 365, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and enterprise network infrastructure.

The hiring team is looking for someone who can do more than list Linux on a resume. Qualified candidates should be comfortable troubleshooting Linux server performance, reviewing logs, checking services, understanding permissions, supporting patching/upgrades, and resolving production Linux issues.


Core Responsibilities

  • Support and administer Linux/RHEL servers
  • Troubleshoot Linux issues involving CPU, memory, disk, services, processes, permissions, and logs
  • Use Linux commands such as top, df -h, free -m, ps, systemctl, journalctl, tail, chmod, and chown
  • Support Windows Server, VMware, Active Directory, Office 365, Exchange, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
  • Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VPN, switches, firewalls, VoIP, and network connectivity
  • Support patching, backups, monitoring, upgrades, system hardening, and infrastructure documentation
  • Participate in occasional field work and a 24/7 on-call rotation


Must Have

  • Strong hands-on Linux administration experience
  • RHEL / Red Hat Enterprise Linux experience preferred
  • 5+ years of systems/network administration experience
  • Experience with Windows Server, VMware, AD, O365, DNS, DHCP, and networking
  • Ability to work fully onsite in Harrisburg, PA


Compensation

$80,000-$90,000 annually, plus strong benefits.
