We work within the IC to understand their requirements, shape their concepts of operation, and deliver exquisite capability across their problem set. ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a Network Administrator to join our rapidly growing team in Reston, VA. In this role, you will be responsible for administrative operations, monitoring, and alerting. You will will be focused on supporting our Corporate Technology infrastructure and critical services. You will have the opportunity to work with various technologies spanning different disciplines within Information Technology including enterprise networking, systems, datacenter, cloud, and applications. The Network Operations center is responsible for tier 2+ escalated requests and incidents for Corporate Technology services and infrastructure at Anduril. You will be identifying patterns, exploring opportunities for automation, illuminating training opportunities, and creating documentation while maintaining a continuous feedback loop with engineering teams. Network Operations Administrators function as maintainers of Anduril's Corporate Technology services and infrastructure. They will work with the guidance of engineering teams maintaining, replacing, and upgrading systems. Network Operations personnel will communicate with stakeholders across the business regarding the state of networks supported. They will also work with the various stakeholders to maintain relationships centered around best communication practices, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency. Network Operations Administrators will work on workflow efficiencies by identifying redundant work and implementing automation to conquer mundane tasks.

WHAT YOUโ€™LL DO
  • Provide tier 2+ support for escalated requests and incidents related to Andurilโ€™s Corporate Technology services and infrastructure.
  • Monitor network and system health, respond to alerts, and ensure high availability and performance of critical services.
  • Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise networking systems, datacenter infrastructure, and cloud-based environments.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to perform system maintenance, upgrades, and replacements across Corporate Technology infrastructure.
  • Identify recurring issues and patterns, proposing and implementing automation to reduce manual workloads and improve response times.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, runbooks, and SOPs for troubleshooting and operational workflows.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to ensure clear communication, operational alignment, and service reliability.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years as a Network Administrator
  • 3+ years as a System Administrator on different flavors of Unix/Linux
  • Knowledge of automation / orchestration systems
  • Advanced Linux administration skills (RHCSE Certification or equivalent experience is desirable)
  • General understanding of networking principles and architecture (CCNA Certification or equivalent experience is desirable)
  • Experience and general competency with:
    • LDAP, Splunk, or Ansible/Other Orchestration Tools
    • Package Management systems such as GIT, RPM, and YUM
    • DNS, DHCP, Routing and Routed Protocols
    • Cloud Services, including AWS, Azure, Oracle
    • Systems-level troubleshooting for networks
    • Administration scripting (Python preferable)
  • Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
