Job description

Senior System Administrator – Tucson, AZ (Onsite)

U.S. citizenship is required. This is a U.S.-based role demanding an active and transferable Secret security clearance prior to start date.

Responsibilities
  • Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.
  • Apply knowledge of Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods.
  • Collaborate as a team member in a fast‑paced technological environment.
  • Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of moderate to high scope and complexity, integrating hardware and operating systems.
  • Implement data RAID, backup and recovery technologies.
  • Install and configure software applications requested by end users.
  • Work with cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements, provide documentation, and deliver training on advanced IT processes and procedures.
Qualifications – You Must Have
  • Minimum of two years of prior relevant experience and a university degree or equivalent experience.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance required prior to start date, with the ability to obtain program access after start.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Experience with Windows and technologies such as Active Directory, WSUS, VMware, Veeam, AWS, MySQL, Remote Desktop Gateway, and Netwrix.
  • Experience with backup and recovery enterprise suites.

  • Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF.
