 Relevant/ Experience Required:

5-7 years of relevant experience  

Technical/Functional Skills:

"Oracle/Sun certified System Administrator having hands-on experience with Sun SPARC servers

  Excellent experience of Linux / Solaris Containers and LDOM configurations

  Excellent understanding of creating and managing Solaris Flash Archive (FLAR)

  Excellent experience with managing High Availability and Disaster Recovery of SPRAC servers

  Excellent understanding of managing servers running Oracle Database & Middleware services

 . Expertise in Linux / Solaris and AIX expertise will be added advantage. Candidate should most familiar in either Linux nor Solaris platform.

 . Expertise in Bash / Shell script 

 . Should have experience in managing VMware Linux servers. . 

 . Expertise in Solaris 10 / 11

 . Experience in handling file system issues / request on Linux and Solaris. ( Candidate should have strong knowledge on Basics in all the area in filessytems)

  . Candidate should have experience leading the technical team.

 . Experience handling NFS issue and should have knowledge of differences between multiple version in the NFS versions.

 . Expertise in Multipath configurations 

 . Adding new SAN disk in OS and extending filesytems.

 . Knowledge on Kerberos authentications in NFS

 . Experience Network card teaming 

 . Understanding VLAN, Trunk "  

 Preferred Skills :

 Understanding of Networking, Security, Storage, Backup/Restore tools

Understanding of RH Linux and IBM AIX Administration"  

 Roles & Responsibilities:

 Configure, troubleshoot, change & release management of Unix servers

  'Manage Solaris Virtualization and HA clusters

  Manage Unix servers to ensure high availability of the hosted services like DB and Middleware

  Manage Disaster Recovery of the Servers
