Job description

Linux Administrator for a long-term consulting engagement. Duties: Participate in the management of Linux integration with a master data management platform. Manage core Linux Database, application, web and additional servers maintaining and updating all documentation.

Create and maintain the operating system hardware and software configuration database/library of all documentation. Investigate and resolve problems involving complex system integration. Skills/Experience: 8-10+ years of experience as a Linux Administrator in a complicated systems environment, who has demonstrated the capability to offer solutions using a wide range of technologies.

Expert level knownledge in Linux Red Hat. Solid experience with Web Services, Apache, Java, Tomcat, Shell scripting, Perl, Python. Experience with Clustering, Load Balancing, Scripting, Thread management, logs - Backups and Recovery.

Experience with and/or knowledge of Data Management & Master Data Management systems would be a plus. Excellent Communication skills. Financial Services Experience.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or an allied field.
