Who We Are Looking For
As a Senior Copywriter at VML, you are a crucial and relied-upon member of the Creative Team. You are a storyteller at heart, skilled in transforming human insights into compelling brand narratives. This role is for a seasoned creative who can ideate brand campaigns, proactively develop big ideas, and mentor junior talent. You will manage a steady workflow, contribute significantly to major projects, and help shape the voice of the brands you work on.
What You'll Do
  • Develop and execute creative concepts for campaign elements across various channels, including paid and organic social, display, radio, online video, and brand activations
  • Write scripts for TV, radio, and social content, adapting your writing to the unique voice of multiple brands and platforms
  • Take ownership of weekly and monthly workflow, ensuring deadlines are met with high-quality work
  • Work in tandem with a Senior Art Director partner and confidently present creative concepts to clients
  • Guide and mentor junior creatives and take ownership on productions
Who You Are
  • Fascinated by human behavior and able to dig deep for insights to craft compelling narratives in decks, meetings, and the work itself
  • Energized by challenges, not easily discouraged, and always curious and questioning
  • Immersed in the brands you work on, becoming an expert on their voice, strategy, and audience
What You'll Need
  • A portfolio of work showcasing strong conceptual and writing abilities
  • 3-5 years of agency experience
  • Strong knowledge of social media trends and the competitive brand landscape
  • Solid understanding of the advertising industry and awareness of award-winning work
