Schedule -ย Full Time, 8hr shifts, Monday - Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm

Whatย you will be doing:ย You'll be responsible forย responsible for the career technical training instruction per approved curricula. They will provide training and basic guidance and direction to help students achieve their technical training goals, in compliance with government and management directives.ย 

Essential functions:ย 

  1. Provide students with direction, instruction, and assistance in designated areas of instruction.
  2. Motivate and counsel students in areas of behavior, training, personal problems, or study habits.
  3. Develop and prepare lessons in accordance with approved curriculum guidelines, recommend curricula changes and supplemental materials.
  4. Maintain organized, clean training environment ( behavior and surroundings) conductive to learning.
  5. Administer and correct tests, maintain progress and attendance reports.ย 
  6. Assist in developing community linkages and volunteers for the career training programs department.ย 
  7. Assist students with job search and job placement prior to separation, participate in placement follow-up activities for graduates of the vocation.ย 

Education and Experience Requirements:ย 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certified, licensed or accredited by a professional trade organization.
  • Must hold a valid D.AN.B. certification with two (2) years related experience.ย 
  • A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.ย
