The Linen Production Specialist & Industrial Sewer is a hands-on, split role based in our warehouse. You will divide your time between sewing tasks-such as running commercial sewing machines, fixing damaged fabrics, and sewing in tracking tags-and helping out with daily laundry operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Textile, Sewing & Custom Branding
    • Inspect, patch, hem, and repair torn or damaged rental inventory (tablecloths, napkins, runners, drapes).
    • Securely sew ultra-high frequency (UHF) RFID tracking tags into the linens.
  • Laundry & Linen Operations (When Not on Sewing Projects)
    • Assist the laundry team by loading and operating commercial washers, dryers, and high-speed flatwork ironers during peak turnaround windows.
    • Actively inspect processed linens to detect permanent stains, burns, or wax damage before items are wrapped and shelved.
    • Fold, bundle, wrap, and accurately label clean linens by size, color, and fabric type according to strict standard operating procedures.
    • Keep the linen department staging bays clean, ensuring that upcoming delivery orders are picked accurately and packed cleanly to protect against truck wall friction.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience operating industrial/commercial sewing machines, sergers, and/or embroidery equipment. Experience in a commercial laundry, hospitality textile, or warehouse environment is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of different fabric types (polyester, linen, velvet, silk) and the specific needles, tension settings, and cleaning/repair methods required for each.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks (folding, feeding ironers), and lift up to 30-40 lbs of linen bundles.
  • Excellent eyesight and precision to catch minor structural defects or stains, and the organizational skills needed to track inventory tags accurately.

Compensation and Perks:
  • Pay range: $17.50 - $19.50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
  • 401(k) with company match.
  • Team member rental discounts.
  • And more!

Compensation: $17.50 - $19.50 per hour
