$15 - $18/hr

Full-time

Re-posted 11 days ago

Job description

DETAIL. PREP. PRESENTATION. Every linen order has to be the right style, color, size, quantity, and condition before it reaches the client.

Prepare the tablecloths, napkins, runners, and specialty linens that help transform weddings, corporate events, and celebrations.

Pay: $15-$18 per hour

Type: Full-time, hourly

Location: North Chesterfield, Virginia

Department: Operations

Reports To: Warehouse Operations Manager

Why This Job Stands Out

Classic Party Rentals of Virginia is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented team member who takes pride in accurate, organized work. You do not need previous event-rental experience. Experience in warehouse fulfillment, laundry, hospitality, retail stock, production, or other detail-focused environments can translate well to this position.

  • $15-$18 per hour, with starting pay at $15 per hour.
  • Potential bonus opportunities for qualifying event breakdown assignments, based on company policy and operational needs.
  • A hands-on role where attention to detail directly affects the look and success of client events.
  • Training provided for the right candidate - previous event-rental experience is not required.
  • A team environment with work that changes as different event orders move through production.
What You Will Do
  • Pull the correct linen styles, colors, sizes, and quantities for rental orders.
  • Inspect linens for stains, tears, burns, excessive wear, and other damage.
  • Fold, package, label, and stage completed linen orders for delivery or client pickup.
  • Verify order accuracy before products leave the warehouse.
  • Sort returned linens and separate items requiring cleaning, treatment, or repair.
  • Keep linen shelves, workstations, and staging areas clean and organized.
  • Assist with inventory counts and report shortages or damaged products.
  • Support other warehouse functions when operational needs require it.
What We Are Looking For
  • Strong attention to detail - colors, sizes, quantities, and condition all matter.
  • Accurate counting and solid organizational skills.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing accuracy.
  • A positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to learn and accept coaching.
  • Previous warehouse, laundry, fulfillment, hospitality, or rental experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
The Physical and Scheduling Reality

This role involves repetitive, hands-on work and extended periods on your feet. Candidates should be comfortable with the physical and scheduling demands of a busy event-rental operation.

  • Stand for extended periods and repeatedly bend, reach, lift, fold, package, and stage products.
  • Regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds, with assistance when appropriate.
  • Work efficiently through repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and presentation standards. Maintain schedule flexibility. Hours may include weekdays, weekends, early mornings, evenings, and additional hours during peak event seasons.
Pay and Earning Opportunities
  • $15-$18 per hour. Starting pay begins at $15 per hour.
  • Potential bonuses for qualifying event breakdown assignments, based on company policy and operational needs.
  • Additional hours may be available during peak event seasons based on business needs.
  • Training and opportunities to grow within the Operations team.

Pay, bonus, overtime, and benefit opportunities are subject to eligibility requirements, company policies, and operational needs.

Our Core Values

Every team member is expected to demonstrate:

Positive Energy | Dedication | Drive to Succeed | Reliability | Flexibility | Accountability

Fair-Chance and Equal Opportunity Hiring

We welcome qualified applicants with criminal histories. A conviction does not automatically disqualify a candidate; each application is reviewed individually in accordance with applicable law, the responsibilities of the position, and legitimate business requirements. Classic Party Rentals of Virginia is an equal opportunity employer.
