The EVS Associate I maintains cleanliness of facilities at Franciscan, restocks supplies, cleans and sanitizes facilities, ensures rooms are free of trash, and provides linen services. This position cares for and cleans any equipment used, and reports any damages or safety issues to their Supervisor. The EVS Associate I maintains a strong knowledge of department policies and procedures.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Clean and disinfect floors using hospital-specific equipment, including microfiber cloths, wet mops, etc.

  • Clean and sanitize surfaces, such as over-bed tables, counters, and furniture, toilets, urinals, sinks, showers, walls, floors, and mirrors.

  • Clean and sanitize vertical surfaces, such as walls, ceilings, and windows.

  • Ensure cleanliness of high dust surfaces, such as picture frames, vents, and doorframes.

  • Inspect rooms for proper cleaning, and report any safety or maintenance issues.

  • Remove trash and linen, clean receptacles, and ensure they are prepared for next use.

  • Restock paper, hand sanitizer and hand soap supplies.
