Route Drive:

Non-Commission - Routes presently $43,000 year

Commission Average - $62,000 a year

Routes: (4 Day Work Week) Mon-Tues-Thurs-Fri

Start Time: 4:30 am - off by 3:00 pm.

Vacations: 1 week after the 1st year, 2 weeks after 2 years

3 weeks after 9 years and 4 weeks after 16 years

Holidays: Paid Holidays include: (After 60 Days)

Thrift: All employees who elect to contribute 2% min. up to 8% max of their salary will become a participant of the Thrift Program after 1 year. Starting in Sept., the company’s contribution to the program depends on profitability. Contribution rates can be 5% to 15%, but there are no guaranteed percentages.

Health Insurance: Offered to you at small monthly Premium/Deductible varies depending on type of insurance you choose.

Short Term Disability: Benefits vary - No cost to employee

$10,000 Life Insurance: No cost to employee

Uniforms: No cost to employee-unless you leave within 6 months of receiving uniforms.

Safety Bonus: This is given if all requirements are met, with approval of corporate board.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Possess a CDL Class B Driver's License
  • Comply with Department of Transportation and in-house rules and regulations
  • Complete a daily truck log as needed
  • Pick up and deliver dairy products to and/or from customers
  • Loads and unloads dairy products at the plant if needed
  • Uses a hand truck or dolly
  • Understands the route of their shipment
  • Utilizes GPS unit to calculate the most efficient and safest route, if needed
  • Creates a good relationship with customers, other drivers and vendors
  • Observes and reports equipment or mechanical failures immediately
  • Coordinates truck repair as needed
  • Conducts daily inspections of the vehicle before driving on a route

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to sit in a truck for the duration of a shift. Must be able to push and/or pull 90 pounds and carry 50 pounds.

Working Conditions:

Must be able to work/drive in extreme temperatures and conditions including hot (100 degrees), cold (below zero degrees) and all types of weather, including but not limited to sun, rain, sleet, snow and ice.

Must keep work area and truck safe and clean and work in a safe and efficient manner. Must be able to follow both written and verbal instructions and perform basic mathematics. Must be able to follow plant and safety policies and procedures. Must comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Class B driver’s license in good standing
  • No serious tickets or accidents in the last 5 years
  • No DWI/DUI in last 10 years
  • 2+ years’ commercial driver experience required
