Job Summary:

We are currently looking for a Class A Driver, at ourMadison, TN Healthcare Laundry facility. We are looking for someone who is confident in decision making, can act quickly, and has excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Class A vehicles, including tractor-trailers, in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Transport goods to various locations, ensuring on-time deliveries.

  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.

  • Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status.

  • Comply with all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.

  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.

  • Assist with loading and unloading of goods as necessary.

  • Report any vehicle issues or incidents to the supervisor immediately.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

  • Clean driving record with no major violations.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Class A Driver.

  • Ability to operate a variety of vehicles and equipment.

  • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and traffic laws.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.

  • Able to push/pull loaded carts of hospital supplies (weighing up to 400 pounds) on and off the truck to designated areas.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
