DESCRIPTION
Looking for an experienced line cook who has previously worked in a busy restaurant.
A line cook at the Crow's Nest primary role is accurately preparing our varied menu items for our guests. While the restaurant specializes in breakfast and brunch options, it is well known for a variety of delicious food made from scratch. Each line cook must be capable of executing recipes and plating entrée's while working in a busy kitchen atmosphere with a team. Our customers depend on a consistent dining experience that the line cook is the backbone of.
Responsibilities
  • Preparing guest orders throughout the duration of each shift
  • Restocking kitchen during and at the end of shift using the FIFO system
  • Communicating with kitchen staff and front of house staff regarding orders and restaurant needs.
  • Accurate portions and clean plating for both dine in and to go orders.
  • Producing a consistent cook on all items following the established procedures of the restaurant.
  • Maintaining a clean workstation throughout your shift in addition to routine cleaning at the end of shift.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to measure and assemble ingredients for menu items consistently.
  • Able to read and follow standardized recipes.
  • Experience cooking on a line in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills while working with a team.
  • Able to read and communicate orders with other line cooks.
