The beautiful Shangri-La Resort + Golf Club, located at the tip of Monkey Island in the center of northeast Oklahoma's Grand Lake O' the Cherokees, is currently accepting applications for a Line Cook to join our team. If you're looking for a great way to earn income, gain hands-on experience, and work in a fun and fast-paced environment, we have the perfect opportunity for you in our kitchen.
What You'll Do
As a Line Cook, you will:
  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with consistency and quality
  • Follow standardized recipes and proper cooking techniques
  • Assist with basic butchery, stock, and sauce preparation
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
  • Ensure all food is properly stored, labeled, and dated
  • Communicate effectively with the Sous Chef and kitchen team
  • Help ensure the kitchen is fully prepped and ready for service
  • Uphold all food safety and sanitation standards

  • 2+ years of cooking experience (or equivalent training)
