Location: Renaissance Fort Lauderdale

Are you ready to join a great team? We are seeking a dependable and motivated Line Cook to join our culinary team at Renaissance Fort Lauderdale.

The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to recipes and quality standards, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and ensuring food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed at all times.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook food items in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards

Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas

Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations

Support team members to ensure exceptional guest experiences

Assist with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations

Prepare food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers and snacks

Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time

Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations

Qualifications:

Previous cooking or line cook experience preferred

Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
