Job description

  • You will leverage chemistry knowledge to propose and/or design adsorbent and related materials for different gas separations and purifications
  • Further, you will employ AI tools to accelerate materials design, optimization and characterization
  • Using chemistry skills to prepare and/or modify new adsorbent and related materials for new uses and applications is part of your role
  • You will also apply advanced characterization methods to determine the properties of adsorbent and related materials
  • Use analytical skills to collect and/or analyze routine and non-routine adsorption and materials property data and proposes and/or develops new analysis and test methods, as required
  • Further, you will handle and use chemicals, gases, and cryogens in accordance with all Linde Engineering, and safety and environmental regulations
  • Lead medium to large sized R&D programs to meet their technical goals, timing objectives and budget requirements
  • Developing intellectual property documents, detailed technical reports and other project related or project management documentation will be part of your role
  • You will plan work activities for the programs under their leadership and delegates work items to other project team members, or develops AI processing methods, to accelerate progress
  • Additionally, you will maintain relationships with key suppliers and participate in joint development and other technical collaborations with suppliers or third parties
  • In this role, you will communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with peers and R&D staff members and shows a willingness to take direction and input from others
