- Implementsafety management strategies to ensure compliance with OSHA PSM regulations,EPA RMP, and best practices in the industry.
- Evaluate new projects from asafety perspective, identifying appropriate risk studies, methodologies, andprovide inputs to associated costs, and schedules during proposal development.
- Participate in risk review and safe layout review meetings, supporting processsafety and environmental requirements.
- Coordinate Facility Siting Studies (FSS)and Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) as required by product definition.
- Conductprocess safety reviews using techniques such as Hazards and Operability Study(HAZOP), What-If, and Layers of Protection Analysis (LOPA).
- Collaborate withproject teams on the implementation of safety design systems ensuringcompliance with internal standards, regulations and permit requirements.
- Reviewand approve project safety documentation.
