Part-Time ElectricianChateau Luxe Banquet amp; Conference Center – Phoenix, AZ

Chateau Luxe is seeking a highly skilled, dependable Part-Time Electrician to manage the electrical needs of our 50,000+ square foot luxury event venue. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who can work independently, troubleshoot efficiently, and maintain a high-end facility operating at peak performance.

Our venue hosts weddings, corporate galas, cultural celebrations, and large-scale productions requiring precision electrical functionality, safety, and reliability.

Position Overview

The Part-Time Electrician will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, upgrading, and troubleshooting all electrical systems throughout our facility. This includes power distribution, lighting systems, event power setups, outlets, fixtures, panels, and emergency systems.

This role requires someone comfortable working in a live-event environment where quick diagnostics and clean execution are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Replace and upgrade electrical outlets and switches

  • Install and replace interior and exterior light fixtures

  • Troubleshoot electrical failures quickly and effectively

  • Diagnose and repair breaker panels and subpanels

  • Maintain ballroom lighting, chandeliers, accent lighting, and outdoor lighting

  • Support event-specific electrical needs (temporary power, stage lighting feeds, vendor power coordination)

  • Ensure code compliance and safety standards

  • Conduct preventative maintenance inspections

  • Coordinate with management on facility upgrades and improvements

  • Maintain organized documentation of repairs and upgrades

Required Experience amp; Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of commercial electrical experience

  • Experience working in large commercial buildings (20,000+ SF preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code)

  • Experience with:

    • Commercial breaker panels

    • 120V/208V/240V systems

    • Lighting control systems

    • Event or production power distribution (preferred)

  • Ability to troubleshoot independently without supervision

  • Clean, professional work habits

  • Valid Arizona driver’s license

  • Ability to pass background check

  • Must provide proof of relevant certifications or licensing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician in Arizona

  • Experience working in event venues, hotels, or hospitality settings

  • Familiarity with commercial kitchen electrical systems

  • Experience with energy-efficient upgrades and LED retrofits

  • Basic understanding of low-voltage systems
