Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Lighting Fixture Installer to join our team and work in the Phoenix, AZ, market. This is a full-time position that will require working the night shift. The ideal candidate will have experience installing various lighting fixtures and a strong understanding of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install various types of lighting fixtures, including recessed lights, chandeliers, track lights, and outdoor lighting
  • Maintain and repair lighting systems in commercial, residential, and industrial settings
  • Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to determine fixture placement and wiring
  • Ensure all fixtures are installed correctly according to safety and industry standards
  • Cut and mount 2x4s, install mounts in drop ceilings, and handle other essential installation tasks
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the installation process
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects
  • Use proper ladder safety techniques and follow best practices for working in customer-occupied environments
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring customer furniture and equipment are covered and protected during installation
  • Stay up to date with industry advancements, energy-efficient lighting, and smart lighting technology

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in lighting fixture installation
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and wiring
