Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough intake evaluations to understand the unique needs of each client and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their goals.
  • Provide ongoing psychotherapy sessions utilizing various evidence-based approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed care methodologies.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards, protecting both client confidentiality and organizational integrity.
  • Engage in regular consultations with multidisciplinary team members to share insights and strategies, promoting a collaborative therapeutic environment.
  • Coordinate care for clients with external agencies, such as medical providers, educational institutions, and social services, to facilitate comprehensive, wraparound service delivery.
  • Adhere to the ethical guidelines and professional conduct as prescribed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS), ensuring the highest standards of care.
