Lightbox Counselling and Psychotherapy Association is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join our innovative and supportive team. • Conduct thorough intake evaluations to understand the unique needs of each client and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their goals.
• Provide ongoing psychotherapy sessions utilizing various evidence-based approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed care methodologies.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards, protecting both client confidentiality and organizational integrity.
• Engage in regular consultations with multidisciplinary team members to share insights and strategies, promoting a collaborative therapeutic environment.
• Coordinate care for clients with external agencies, such as medical providers, educational institutions, and social services, to facilitate comprehensive, wraparound service delivery.
• Adhere to the ethical guidelines and professional conduct as prescribed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS), ensuring the highest standards of care.

This position emphasizes compassionate care for a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families. We seek professionals adept at addressing issues ranging from life transitions and developmental challenges to severe emotional distress. Working within underserved communities is particularly important to us, as we aim to reach those who often lack access to mental health services.

• Active LPCC license in the State of California, maintained in good standing.
• A Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• A strong understanding of clinical assessment, treatment planning, and a variety of therapeutic interventions.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to foster trust and rapport with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently, managing your time effectively while engaging collaboratively with the clinical staff.

• Two years of relevant experience as a mental health counselor, specifically within community mental health, telehealth, or crisis intervention.
• Experience working with youth, couples, or family systems, contributing to a holistic treatment approach.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and connect with diverse populations, particularly from underserved communities.

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
