Job description


We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Working Lead for our LightArt operations day shift. This role is responsible for Leading activities of workers engaged in packing and shipping of products They must work safely, be self-motivated and produce great quality products. The ideal candidate will have a packing and shipping background, but this is not required.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyzes and resolves work problems.
  • Manage shipping schedule.
  • Quality check all material.
  • Print paperwork for shipping
  • Pack and palletize material with team.
  • Audit paperwork with what is shipping-make sure all items on paperwork are being shipped.
  • Bring up any discrepancies.
  • Deliver pallets to the shipping department.
  • Paperwork for PWOP and place pallets in PWOP.
  • Clean and Organize area.
  • 5S and label everything
  • Min/Max set on all shipping supplies
  • Manage shipping supplies.
  • Answer questions from sales

Qualifications:
  • Computer competency
  • Strong understanding of health and safety protocols
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Effective problem-solving

Required physical strength:
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. Occasionally.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Occasionally.
  • Must be able to work on your feet including, standing and walking.
  • Must be able to work in and around production equipment, which includes occasionally climbing stairs, ladders, bending, stooping, standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching.
  • Must be able to see / hear to visually and audibly acknowledge critical safety instructions, alarms, forklift traffic, perform quality inspections, and equipment inspections.
