Job description

The Groundskeeper / Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, cleanliness, and basic functionality of the HOA community. This position performs landscaping duties, grounds upkeep, and minor maintenance repairs to ensure the community remains safe, clean, and visually appealing for residents and guests.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Groundskeeping Duties:
  • Maintain community landscaping, lawns, shrubs, trees, and flower beds
  • Mow, edge, trim, weed, and water landscaped areas
  • Remove litter, debris, and leaves from common areas, sidewalks, parking lots, and amenities
  • Maintain cleanliness of pools, clubhouse areas, walking paths, and recreational spaces
  • Monitor irrigation systems and report issues as needed
  • Assist with seasonal property preparations and storm cleanup
Minor Maintenance Duties:
  • Perform minor repairs including light plumbing, painting, drywall patching, and basic electrical work
  • Replace light bulbs, filters, and minor hardware as needed
  • Assist with maintenance of community facilities, gates, fences, signage, and common areas
  • Identify and report safety hazards, damages, or major repair needs to management
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance storage areas in an organized and safe manner
  • Assist vendors and contractors when necessary

Full-Time Various Schedules to include weekdays and weekends.

Pay Rate: Up to $20 DOE
