Job description

Aon is looking for an experienced Leader to join our growing Time Away & Life Solutions (TALS) Consulting Practice. 

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from one of our South Region offices in the United States.

What the day will look like

As a Leader within the Time Away & Life Solutions (TALS) Consulting Practice, you will be driving strategy for our largest clients.  Depending on the need, underwriters, actuaries, account managers or auditors from the practice will be assigned to partner with you to deliver for your client. 

How this opportunity is different

This position combines sales and service within a regional alignment, focusing on National Account clients.  With the evolving need for leave industry there is constant need for strategy development and cost modeling to ensure that clients remain compliant and competitive in the marketplace.  This team is comprised of colleagues with different backgrounds and skillsets that collaborate together to deliver for our clients. 

Skills and experience that will lead to success 

The candidate should have technical skills with regards to PTO, disability, life insurance, FMLA and municipal/state regulated leaves, ADA Stay and Return to Work program and administration designs. This candidate needs to be comfortable with financials and should be able to talk through an experience exhibit or RFP results with a client.  In this leader role, this individual will lead projects and client relationships with demonstrated leadership skills. As an Aon Leader, this professional will have the opportunity to integrate and innovate with other Aon specialty areas such as Health Transformation, Risk Safety and Casualty and Data Forensics and Intelligence subject matter experts. This Leader will responsible for driving revenue growth for the TALS practice:

  • Leader who is responsible for building relationships in your assigned region and providing strategic oversight on your assigned accounts
  • Responds to broker RFPs and presents Aon capabilities during finalist meetings
  • Oversees the execution of the TALS delivery team
  • Builds, expands, and solidifies relationships with existing clients and Aon Account Executives to ensure that the team is adequately meeting the client’s needs
  • Advanced technical and consultative skills/expertise
  • Strong financial acumen
  • In-depth understanding of current trends, data analysis and other complex issues

Education

  • Industry specific certifications preferred (CRC, CCM, CDMS, etc)
  • 20+ years in the Absence, Life & Disability industry
  • Demonstrated sales or account management experience

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is  to $200,000.00 to $240,000.00  annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.  

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary.  The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
