The Role:The Solutions Marketing Manager plays a significant role in building, executing, and optimizing the go-to-market strategy and growing market share for the Life Science Solutions portfolio of products and services. This role specifically focuses on portfolio growth in the life science research and development, biopharma manufacturing, biobanking and biorepository sub-segments of the life sciences industry.

This person will work with internal teams and external partners to align efforts and drive action acutely focused on demand generation and sales cycle acceleration. They will develop and manage content strategies and campaign plans, recommend gotomarket approaches that support business growth while ensuring all campaign elements meet deadlines, stay within budget, and are properly tracked. This role is designated as on-site at our Life Science Solutions hub in Noblesville.

A successful candidate will identify with two roles:

  • STORY-TELLER: Partners cross-functionally to build a complete and aligned narrative. Makes the complex simple. Champions value-based messaging.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and refine data-driven product positioning, messaging, and value propositions based on market insights to resonate with target audiences and drive demand, accelerate sales cycles, and deliver intended results.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies grounded in customer insights and aligned to commercial objectives. Excels in navigating a large and complex organization with many stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with product management, sales, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on product features, benefits, and roadmaps.

  • Develop and manage best-in-class product commercialization efforts end-to-end including content creation, digital marketing development and full-funnel campaigns.

  • Delivers an A+ Customer Experience for all customer touchpoints inclusive of web and sales enablement platforms - both internal and external. Recognize we win and lose as a team.

  • Analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, using data-driven insights to optimize performance. Strong business acumen and the ability to translate insights into actions that increase commercial effectiveness.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product marketing and the life sciences market. Build the bridge between our business and the market.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business administration, or a related field.

  • Direct experience marketing to upstream life science organizations - including biopharma manufacturers and/or CDMOs, life science research laboratories, etc.

  • 8-15 years of integrated marketing experience.

  • Experience running pivotal initiatives including campaign workflow, timelines, budget tracking and asset development. Ability to handle a wide variety of projects simultaneously and react flexibly to any changes in priorities and resources.

  • Highly creative and adept at balancing both traditional marketing tactics alongside emerging new media tactics and strategies. Not afraid to try something new.

  • A bias towards a collaborative work culture with strong interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence in a team setting. Ability to influence up, down, and across in a matrixed organization.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, with a focus on detail and delivering results.

  • Exceptionally detail-oriented with strong ability to build schedules, track budget and project completion requirements.

  • Learns enthusiastically and encourages continuous improvement with a growth mindset.

  • Advocates for both internal and external customers.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to create compelling content and storytelling presentations.

  • Strong analytical skills. An instinct to make data-driven decisions.
