As a Senior Business Analyst at IQVIA, you will play a key role in modernizing patient support programs by translating business needs into scalable, forwardthinking digital experiences. You'll collaborate with experts across the organization, expand your technical and analytical strengths, and help deliver programs that set new standards in patient access and affordability.

Job Overview

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will provide systems and business analysis expertise to support the design, enhancement, and optimization of patient services programs and digital solutions. Under general direction, you will gather and translate user needs into clear business and system requirements that guide internal teams toward building scalable, effective products for clients.

You will manage multiple concurrent workstreams, lead requirementgathering discussions, and collaborate closely with crossfunctional partners-including client services, development, and QA. You will also evaluate processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure the delivery of accurate, highquality documentation. This role requires strong organizational agility, the ability to pivot quickly when priorities shift, and the confidence to challenge assumptions with both clients and internal SMEs.

This position is remote, with only occasional U.S. travel for key client meetings.

Essential Functions
  • Formulate and define systems scope and objectives based on user needs, business goals, and a strong understanding of relevant systems.

  • Analyze business and user needs, document requirements, and translate them into structured system requirement specifications.

  • Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems, considering operating constraints, timelines, system capabilities, and desired outcomes.

  • Lead client and internal discovery sessions to extract business needs, validate understanding, and refine proposed solutions.

  • Develop clear business rules and requirements documentation to guide development and QA teams throughout the lifecycle.

  • Guide and advise lessexperienced Business Analysts to support consistency and highquality output across the team.

  • Troubleshoot requirementrelated issues, support design discussions, and collaborate closely with development and QA teams.

  • Manage competing priorities across multiple projects, adapting efficiently as timelines and client needs change.

  • Work at a high technical and analytical level across most phases of systems analysis, balancing business impact with system feasibility.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum five (5) years of systems analysis or business analysis experience.

  • Experience with businesswide applications (e.g., operational systems, thirdparty platforms, or clientfacing tools).

  • Ability to understand client requirements and translate them into clear business and system specifications.

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

  • Strong troubleshooting, critical thinking, and active listening abilities.

  • Experience collaborating with crossfunctional teams across the SDLC.

Preferred:

  • Copay or patient support program experience.

  • Familiarity with JIRA or similar workflow management tools.

  • Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $84,600.00 - $211,600.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
