The Market Access Senior Manager is a clientfacing consulting leader responsible for delivering highimpact Market Access, pricing, and reimbursement engagements for Life Sciences clients. This role combines deep Market Access subjectmatter expertise with strong consulting execution, client leadership, and commercial acumen.

As a Market Access Senior Manager you will:

  • Lead multiple Market Access workstreams across pricing, reimbursement, payer strategy, value communication, and evidence generation.
  • Be part of a growing team focused on expanding the footprint of the Deloitte Market Access practice across life science customers focused on setting, implementing, and executing our customers' strategic vision.
  • Partner with client Market Access, medical, and commercial stakeholders to address complex access challenges and deliver actionable recommendations.
  • Translate business questions into structured analyses, insights, and strategies grounded in Market Access leading practices.
  • Drive high-quality delivery across scope, timelines, and outcomes, while managing risks, dependencies, and client needs.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, leading working sessions, executive readouts, and decision-ready deliverables.
  • Use advanced analytics and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency, insight generation, and work quality.
  • Support practice growth through proposals, solution shaping, workplans, follow-on opportunities, and thought leadership.
  • Lead, coach, and develop teams while fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture.

An evolving customer and regulatory landscape, mounting pipeline of next-gen assets and portfolio pressures, and intensifying competition are presenting new organizational and operational hurdles for Life Sciences companies. These complex market dynamics are requiring new levels of rigor and insight in business strategy development and problem-solving, both domestically and globally.

We are looking for practitioners who will work alongside Life Sciences organizations from bio-technology firms to global big pharma to medical devices, to drive business value through end-to-end delivery of solutions based on strategy development for heart of business issues.

Qualifications

Required

  • 10+ years of experience with a demonstrated history of consulting delivery in Market Access, pricing, or Life Sciences commercial strategy.
  • 8+ years of experience working directly with Market Access and payer facing client teams.
  • 6+ years of experience in the US Life Sciences ecosystem, including payer dynamics, reimbursement pathways, access challenges, and evidence requirements.
  • 6+ years of experience with pharmaceutical, biotech, or related Life Sciences clients.
  • 6+ years of experience selling and delivering-supporting pursuits, shaping client solutions, and owning delivery outcomes.
  • 4+ years of experience with the healthcare value chain, key stakeholder dynamics, and economic incentive structures by stakeholder group.
  • 1+ years of experience with incorporating AI into daily workflow and leveraging AI tools to enable and optimize the client experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%+ on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

  • Strong executive presence, stakeholder management, and written/oral communication skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and manage complex, multi stakeholder engagements.
  • Comfort working with data, analytics, and AI enabled tools as part of modern consulting delivery (no requirement to design or build technology).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and translate business needs into analytical or technology enabled solutions.
  • History of bringing a 'Team First' mentality to professional approach and willingness to work collaboratively in a close knit community focused on growing our market footprint.
  • Willingness to work in entrepreneurial environment that is rapidly evolving within the Deloitte ecosystem.
  • Experience growing and developing teams in a highly collaborative and dynamic environment, especially practitioners with 2-4 years of experience.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $175,300 to $322,900.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
