Description
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for numbers and excellent communication skills? We are looking for a Legal Assistant to join our Quotes Team. In this role, you will handle various tasks related to lender fees and costs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. If you have a strong work ethic and can adapt to changing procedures, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage lender fees and costs requests in LPS according to lender requirements
• Request, calculate, and release RI/PO quotes for all lenders in multiple databases (LPS, VS, Lenstar, Clarifire, etc.)
• Respond to all emails addressed to the Quotes Department pertaining to all lenders
• Pull RI/PO quotes and fees/costs in Vendorscape, Lenstar, and LPS
• Prepare quote breakdowns upon request
• Resolve payment disputes and escalate issues/requests with lenders as necessary
• Answer incoming phone calls for the Quotes Department

Backup Responsibilities:

• Assist with fees and costs for bidding
• Assist with pulling all workloads in all databases (LPS, VS, Lenstar, Clarifire, etc.), including completing all necessary processes
• Perform general office duties such as scanning, filing, faxing, emailing, and maintaining department documents as needed

Position Requirements

• Proficient in CaseWare
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changes
• Excellent attention to detail and mathematical skills
• Ability to work independently and achieve daily goals
• Strong work ethic and dedication to resolving problems

Benefit Details:
Brock & Scott, PLLC offers an attractive benefit package to full-time employees on the 1st of the following month of hire. The insurance portion includes medical, dental, voluntary life, voluntary vision, and critical illness, all at competitive rates. At the 90-day introductory period, the Firm also provides a basic life insurance policy in the amount of one time your annual salary (with a minimum of $25,000 and a maximum of $200,000.00) at no cost.
Full-time employees receive paid holidays, including six (6) firm-recognized holidays and one (1) Day of Observance, as well as a PTO package of 12 days per year. PTO accrues monthly and is credited on the 15th of each month, in accordance with firm policy. PTO benefits increase after 2 years of employment and again after 5 years of employment. After six months of service, employees over the age of 21 become eligible to participate in the firm's 401(k) plan at the beginning of the next quarter.
Pre employment statement:
Employment with Brock & Scott, PLLC is contingent upon the successful completion of all required pre-employment screenings and verifications, which may include, but are not limited to, a criminal background check, conflict of interest check, employment and education verification (as applicable), and a pre-employment drug screening. Drug testing is conducted only after a conditional offer of employment has been extended and in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Compensation Details: $19-$23/hr
The compensation amount is not guaranteed. Individual compensation is based on various factors unique to each candidate. This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position, however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, experience, and qualifications.

To be considered for this position, applicants must currently reside within Brock & Scott, PLLC's geographic footprint. Eligible states include: AL, CT, FL, GA, IN, KY, ME, MD, MA, MI, NH, NJ, NC, OH, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, VT, VA, and WV.
