Call Center Representative
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Call Center Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle inbound and outbound calls, provide excellent customer service, and assist with inquiries and issue resolution.
  • Responsibilities
    • Answers daily telephone calls professionally. Provide general information to patients and clients about the practice, its services, and clinical staff.
    • Schedule patient appointments, cancel and reschedule appointments, redirect callers to the appropriate department staff.
    • Check voicemail messages submitted by the answering service company system and respond or redirect callers accordingly
    • Check the phone lines in the receptionist desk and the scheduling coordinator's desk for any messages that have been received and that they are appropriately taking care of patient requests.
    • Ensure that all referrals are scanned into the electronic medical records promptly, after assigned actions are completed. Document all call information according to standard operating procedures
    • Performs other related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or his/her designee.
    • Reports to the clinical Operations Manager.
  • Requirements
    • Strong communication skills; Spanish languages are a plus
    • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult customers with professionalism
    • Proficiency in using computerized systems for data entry and information retrieval
    • Familiarity with medical terminology or experience in a medical office is advantageous
    • Ability to navigate phone systems efficiently and follow phone etiquette guidelines

Work Location: In person
This position requires the individual to undergo and pass an L2 Background check through AHCA (Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration) before their first day of employment. This process includes fingerprinting.
If you do not possess an active/eligible L2 background check, we are unable to offer the job. Please note that the individual may be charged $89.15 to complete the fingerprinting process through DTIS (Digital Trusted Identity Services).
