Job description

The Cambridge Assisted Living & Memory Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Director of Life Enrichment to lead and enhance the daily experiences of our residents in Smyrna, GA. This role focuses on developing, implementing, and overseeing programs that promote engagement, wellness, and social interaction to improve the quality of life for those we serve.

Shift
  • 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. 
  • Tuesday - Saturday 
  • May work weekends & after hours to support events 
Responsibilities
  • Develop and coordinate a diverse range of life enrichment activities tailored to the interests and abilities of residents.
  • Plan and oversee special events, outings, and recreational programs that encourage socialization and mental stimulation.
  • Collaborate with care teams and family members to create personalized activity plans.
  • Manage activity staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Maintain accurate records of participation and program effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to life enrichment programming.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in life enrichment, recreational therapy, social services, or related field preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Passion for improving the lives of seniors and individuals in a care setting.
