Licensed Health Insurance Agent (Remote)

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound calls to assess eligibility, explain plan options, provide quotes, and complete enrollments
  • Conduct outbound calls during downtime, including:
    • D‑SNP Medicaid referrals
    • CSNP retention outreach
    • Outreach to dependents who will soon need their own individual plan
  • Meet performance goals: 6% conversion rate and ~10 enrollments per week
  • Follow CMS, AHIP, and internal compliance guidelines
  • Transfer misrouted calls and guide ineligible callers to appropriate resources
Qualifications
  • Active Virginia Health Insurance License
  • AHIP certification (or eligible to obtain)
  • Health insurance sales, Medicare/D‑SNP
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, MS Teams)
  • Positive, coachable, and customer‑focused
Schedule & Location
  • Fully remote
  • Aug–Sept: Mon–Fri, 8am–6pm EST (8–5 or 9–6)
  • Oct–Mar: Mon–Sun, 8am–8pm EST (rotating shifts; 2 weekends/month required)
  • Open to candidates in multiple U.S. states (VA license required)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
