We are seeking a Technical Communications & Data Analyst to support operational processes, data management, and internal communications.
This role is ideal for a highly organized and adaptable professional who can work across disciplines; combining technical writing, data analysis, and process improvement.
The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and an interest in using AI tools and automation to improve efficiency and team performance.
The Technical Communications and Data Analyst blends the skills of a data analyst with those of a technical communications professional, ensuring that data is not only accurate and insightful but also effectively communicated to stakeholders.

Location: Louisville, KY (Preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Insights

  • Has ownership, maintenance, and collection responsibility for data assets in the functional production support process
  • Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources using tools like SQL, Excel, Python, or Tableau
  • Identify patterns, trends, and correlations to support descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics

Technical Communications

  • Assist with creation of branding, communication, and training materials

  • Develop and maintain digital asset libraries (e.g., multimedia content, documents) for easy retrieval and reuse

Skills & Qualifications:

Analytical Skills:Proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Excel, Python, Tableau), statistical methods, and visualization software.

Technical Skills:Demonstrated familiarity with AI concepts and how they are applied in an organization, such as but not limited to:

  • Programming (Python mainly)
    • NumPy, Pandas, SciPy
    • Clean code, debugging, version control (Git)
  • Machine Learning Basics
    • Supervised & unsupervised learning
    • Regression, classification, clustering
    • Model evaluation (accuracy, precision, recall, etc.)

Communication Skills:Strong written, verbal, and visual communication, ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Ability to story tell: to write and speak clearly to inform diverse audiences.

  • Experience with SharePoint and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data organization, formulas, basic analysis)
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Organizational Skills:Ability to manage multiple projects, maintain accurate records, and follow documentation standards with strong attention to detail.

Experience:

  • 1-3 years in data, financial, or systems analysis
  • A degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or Business strongly preferred
  • Experience creating documentation, training materials, or process guides
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies
  • Experience working in cross-functional or multidisciplinary teams
