Responsibilities
  • Communicate and coordinate with the internal Marketing staff to understand business/marketing objectives and ensure deadlines are met
  • Assist with social media content strategy, implementation and monitoring duties as assigned- in conjunction with the internal Management Consultant, Marketing Manager, Promotions, Director of Casino Marketing, Advertising Manager, and Database Marketing Manager is responsible for creation and execution of successful promotions and events including large retail promotions, slot tournaments, and ViP events
  • Writing rules and regulations for promotions and special events
  • Coordinates with other departments as necessary to ensure successful events
  • Gathering data and trends, utilizing internal database analysis tools and drafting reports
  • Promote customer relations: handle customer complaints, deliver comps, etc.
  • Provide Administrative support
  • Schedule and organize activities such as meetings, travel, conferences and department activities for all team members
  • Establish, develop, maintain and update library of documentation such as regulatory material, trade journals and magazines. Retrieve information from files when needed
  • Photocopy and fax information and documents as needed or requested
  • Complete various forms as needed such as purchase orders and check requests including obtaining appropriate authority signatures and distribution to the appropriate parties.
  • Reporting on Casino Marketing Operations to the Director of Casino Marketing
  • Assist the Marketing Department as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. /B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent.
  • Two years progressively more challenging role in marketing or operations.
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel and Word)
  • Ability to prepare, understand and analyze department budgets, capital expenditures and P&L statements.
  • Proven managerial and critical thinking skills required.
  • Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations with co-workers, guests and vendors.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and employee relations skills.
  • Teamwork – ability to work collaboratively with other departments and leaders to complete property/corporate initiatives and effective day to day operations.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple priorities in a demanding work environment.
  • Must have exceptional communication, analytical, customer service, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job dutie in varying work areas such as confined spaces
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
