Coordinates and oversees the district's assistive technology program, facilitating the AT meetings, keeping track of the referrals, organizing the AT library, checking out/checking in AT equipment, overseeing referrals, consulting with the IEP teams for AT evaluations and implementation of device use, and training in the area of evaluations, device types, and implantation of device use in therapy and the classroom.
  2. Communicates the district's goals regarding the utilization of assistive technology-school- based to home communication.
  3. Attends conferences and meeting regarding future trends in assistive technology as it relates to enhancing communication skills.
